Eating larger meals early and smaller meals later will increase your weight loss faster. Plan to eat the carb-rich foods early too so you can curb those hunger pangs late in the day.
 
Dieting TIP #12: Eat Fish For Breakfast
Substituting one of the healthy Omega-3 fatty acid foods for breakfast can give you variety and the healthy proteins you need in your diet. Try salmon and mackerel croquettes in place of sausage and eat leftover salmon with your eggs in the morning.
 
Dieting TIP #13: Make Sandwiches With Lettuce
Wrapping your sandwiches and burgers in large leaves of lettuce makes a fun and tasty substitution for bread products and keeps those carbs under control.

We do not encourage you to eat sugar-filled desserts, we do say that fresh fruit desserts can satisfy your craving for sweets and provide fiber, lower carbs and added protein if served with cottage cheese.

Buying fresh fruits and juicing is a better alternative to sodas and juices with little or no juice in them. Or better yet, buy fresh fruit and simple eat it raw. The fiber will help you feel full and keep you from overeating.

Replacement bars and shakes are not as healthy as they lead you to believe. Most are filed with sugars and hydrogenated oils and should be avoided as much as possible.

Low-carb desserts and pastries?! Use your common sense and read the labels. Then run as fast as you can to the fresh fruit aisle! As tempting as they are, they typically contain the carbs and sugars you want to stay away from.

A great habit to get used to is shopping the outer aisles at your favorite grocery store. Shop for healthy dairy, vegetable, meats and fruits that are set up around the perimeter of the store. Be aware that most of the carbs are in the center aisles.

When it comes to low-carb and low-fat meal preparation, a cookbook can be your best friend. With so many concerns about healthy living and diets, a good old-fashioned cookbook can provide a variety of menu options and new recipes to fit your tastes.

Sadly, our foods these days including fresh foods, don’t always contain enough vitamins and minerals to give us the nutrients we need on a daily basis. That’s where a good multivitamin can help.
