Contrary to popular belief, perspiration itself is odorless. Sweat attains its musky scent when it comes in contact with bacteria on our skin and in the surrounding atmosphere. When undergoing daily activities we are bound to sweat, and invariably we accrue bacteria on our bodies.
Sweating is an important function of our body. Disorders such as hyperhidrosis (excessive perspiration) and anhidrosis (lack of perspiration) are dangerous and often contribute to other health problems. Yet we see sweating as an embarrassing situation and try to cover it up with solutions like deodorant and antiperspirant.
Body odor refers to the smell that emanates from a person’s hair, feet, crotch, anus, skin, breasts, armpits, genitals and pubic hair. Many contributing factors influence an individual’s odor, from gender to diet or even to the mood you’re in.
Conscious self-hygiene becomes especially important during puberty, when sweat glands become more active. Wearing loose clothes everyday helps keep you fresh and dry, but nothing can substitute a daily shower.
Evading the stinky smell of body odor is as simple as making a few minor changes to your life. Here are some changes you need to make —

A daily bath or shower that involves focused cleaning on the underarm and groin areas will work wonders.
Wear clean clothes with natural fibers that allow your skin to breathe, and avoid foods like red meat, onions, garlic, strong spices, caffeinated drinks and alcohol.
Eliminate tobacco and smoking from your life, as the smell reeks not only from your mouth, but your skin, as well.

Home Remedies for Body Odor
A variety of natural cures for body odor exist, but it is important to find the combination of solutions that works best for your body.

Consider a small amount of a lemon juice and baking soda mixture under your arms and around your groin. This has proven to be especially useful during the hot months of summer.
Try rubbing potato slices on your cleaned and dried underarms. Apply your regular deodorant on top of this for maximum effect.
Mix three tablespoons of vanilla extract, one cup of water and one teaspoon rubbing alcohol together in a spray bottle and spray over your body and clothes.
After a bath, apply milk of magnesia under your arms with wet cotton to minimize the odor of perspiration.
Apply peanut butter liberally under your arms every night before bed.
Alternative to store-bought deodorants, you can use alcohol, white vinegar, apple cider vinegar or witch hazel for your underarm body odor.

Herbs for Body Odor
There are a plethora of other organic solutions which help to balance the body, as well. Lets look at some —

Chewing parsley, alfalfa along with other leafy vegetables helps to control the body’s odor.
Reportedly, radish juice mixed with a quarter-teaspoon glycerin makes a particularly potent spray-on deodorant.
Turnip juice works similarly, minimizing underarm odor for up to 8-10 hours. Squeeze a grated turnip into two teaspoons juice and apply the extract under the arms or wherever the stench is most abundant.
Rosemary is naturally anti-bacterial. Put 8-10 drops of rosemary oil in an ounce of water and apply the solution to the crevices of the body.
Drinking 500mg of wheat grass daily, washed down with a cold glass of water balances the body and reduces the potency of existing body odor.

I hope you can implement some of these home remedies for body odor above that will obviously work for your wonders.
